Typically yogic practice endeavors to master the centered witness. But without developing our comfort and awareness with the chaos within us, this centered calm becomes a prison atop an ivory tower of self isolation and denial, turning healthy practices into paths of loneliness and dissociation. By willfully engaging the tempest of our unconscious, we find beauty in unexpected places and connection to a whole new world of understanding. This “master” immersion has nothing to do with yoga pose level and everything to do with how much you want to up-level your life off the mat, especially in how you work in the world and engage in relationship.
Over the three days, Erin Colleen Keeley will draw on her lineage of traditional Rajanaka Tantra (not tantric sex), authentic relating practices and her personal experience as a yoga instructor to guide participants through a nourishing weekend of developing a set of perspectives that can be practically applied to one’s daily yogic practice and/OR instruction style. She will take participants into a deep dive of rich experiences and offer three powerful tools that will help participants identify and hone their own gifts and create powerful offerings for their community. Each day will offer a mix of exploring mythology and social psychology, applying authentic relating practices, and participating in guided asanas and meditations in order to experience and understand “rasa”. By engaging rasa, the participant discovers what inspires them at the deepest levels which leads to developing their own unique niche that shapes their offerings to the world. Applied within, rasa also enhances one’s life by expanding one’s capability to experience a broader range of emotions and creates the potential for more intimacy and and healthiness in all forms of relationship.
